Slice off tops of squashes and scoop out seeds and pulp

Cut squash into 1/4-inch rings

Arrange rings in a baking dish

Pour pineapple juice over rings

Cover dish and bake in moderate (350F.) oven 30 minutes

Remove from oven

Make a mixture of butter, lemon rind, brown sugar, salt and corn syrup and pour over rings

- 2 medium acorn squashes
- 1/3 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 stick butter or margarine
- 2 teaspoons grated lemon rind
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- dash salt
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
