    Boil the dry apples in applesauce, with honey, nuts, coriander seed and raisins

    Cook over medium heat for approximately 15 minutes; then add dark rum

    Serve hot in dessert bowls, topped with real whipped cream, flavored with a dash of vanilla

    Serves eight.

  • Version 1:
  • 2 pounds of dried apples
  • 2 cups of applesauce
  • 3 tablespoons of honey
  • 1/2 cup of nuts of your choice
  • 2 tablespoons coriander seed
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 2 ounces of dark rum
  • whipped cream with vanilla
