Cut flank steak into 1 /2 cubes

Combine flour, salt and pepper and dredge beef pieces

Brown beef in oil in kettle or Dutch oven

Drain drippings

Add corn and bean liquid, but reserve corn and beans until later

Also add chicken broth, water, garlic and chili powder

Cover and cook over low heat for about two hours

Add onions and green pepper and cook another 20 minutes

- 1-1/2 pounds flank steak
- 4 tablespoons of flour
- 1-1/2 teaspoons of salt
- 2 twists ground black pepper
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 can whole kernel corn.
- 1 can red beans
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1-1/2 cups of water
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1-1/2 teaspoons of chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of hot pepper sauce
- 3 small onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
