    Place plums on one sheet of the foil

    Stir together the orange juice, brown sugar and spices

  • 3

    Pour over plums

  • 4

    Top with second sheet of foil and fold edges over three times to seal the foil packet. Rotate in the Flat Standard Basket for 20 minutes

  • 5

    Open packet and serve with juices, sprinkled with toasted nuts.

SPICED PLUMS

  • 4 plums, halved
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 tablespoon slivered toasted almonds
  • 2 (14 x 12 inch) sheets heavy-duty aluminum foil
