    Trim fat from steak

    Sprinkle both sides with salt and pepper

    Rotate steak in Flat Standard Basket for 15 minutes for medium rare

    Cut steak across grain into thin slices about 2 inches long. Combine vinegar, lime juice, soy sauce, ginger and red pepper flakes in a small bowl

    Toss lettuce with bean sprouts, red pepper and steak

    Drizzle vinaigrette over salad; toss to coat and serve.

  • 1 pound lean top sirloin or flank steak
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 /8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1 /4 cup seasoned rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger root
  • 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 6 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1-1/2 cups bean sprouts
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper strips
