APRICOT BAKED APPLES

ingredients

  • 2 large apples
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons apricot spreadable fruit
  • 2 tablespoons chopped dried apricots
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped walnuts
  • 2 (14 x 12) inch sheets heavy-duty aluminum foil

    Cut each apple in half lengthwise and remove the core

  • 2

    You may peel the apple or not

  • 3

    Lay the apples, cut side up on one sheet of foil

  • 4

    Drizzle with lemon juice

  • 5

    Divide the jam evenly between the apples, spreading it on the cut surface

  • 6

    Sprinkle with dried apricots and walnuts. Top with second sheet of foil and fold edges over three times to seal the foil packet

  • 7

    Rotate in the Flat Standard Basket for 30 minutes or until apples are tender

  • 8

    Open packet and serve apples with any juices.
