Whisk together the honey and melted butter

Pour into the squash shells

The acorn halves should be baked in about one-half inch of water for about a half hour in a 400?F oven with the cut sides up

While the halves are baking, brown sausage in a skillet, turning often as you go, and not allowing them to get too crusty

Spoon sausage in each acorn half

Turn oven down to 325F, pour more water into the baking pan and place the stuffed squash into the oven

Bake for fifteen minutes

Serve with vegetable of choice.

- 2 acorn squash, cut in half and seeded
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 pound dried apricot and fresh thyme
