Beef Sausage Casserole

ingredients

  • 2-1/2 cups of dry bread made into cubes
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 2 or 3 small potatoes, diced
  • 1 12-ounce package of frozen peas
  • 1-1/2 pounds of American beef sausage
  • cut into 1-inch lengths (page 59)

    Place bread cubes into a large mixing bowl and mix together with potatoes, peas, and about half of the sausage

    Add broth, then put into a greased casserole

  • 3

    Arrange remaining sausage on top of casserole

  • 4

    Bake at 350? for about an hour, or until potatoes are soft

  • 5

    Take the lid off the for the last 15 minutes of baking so the casserole forms a crusty top.
