The sausage should be precooked in about 1/2 cupful of water for about fifteen minutes

Break the sausage with a fork as it cooks

Combine all the other ingredients with the sausage and turn into a 1-1/2 quart casserole

- breakfast sausage (page 26)
- 5 medium-sized potatoes
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano
- salt to taste freshly ground black pepper
