Cut the bacon crosswise into one-inch pieces

Add the bacon, pork and remaining ingredients to the mixing bin and process until thoroughly blended

Using the #20 horn extrude the mixture into the casings and twist off into four-inch links

Poke several holes down the length of each sausage

Maple Bacon Sausage
ingredients
- 1/2 pound maple flavored bacon
- 1-1/2 pounds ground pork
- 2 tablespoons real maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons cold water
