    Make spaghetti and set aside

    To make sauce, saute onions and garlic in hot oil until tender, but not brown, in large saucepan

    Add tomatoes, stir and let come to a boil

  • 4

    Lower heat and boil gently for 30 minutes

    Add basil and oregano

  • 6

    Cook for another 15 minutes

    Meanwhile, cut under-shells of lobsters lengthwise, leaving top shell intact

    Remove lobster meat whole and wash thoroughly

  • 9

    Add lobster meat to sauce

  • 10

    Simmer for about 30 minutes, covered

  • 11

    Meanwhile cook spaghetti al dente, drain, and arrange in center of a heated serving platter

  • 12

    Remove lobster tails from sauce then pour sauce over cooked spaghetti

  • 13

    Arrange lobster meat around spaghetti with sauce

  • 14

    Serve immediately.

LOBSTER WITH MARINARA SAUCE

ingredients

  • 1 full load of pasta dough made into spaghetti
  • 1/2 cup olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 6 (5 ounces each) frozen rock lobster tails, thawed
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1 (2 pound-3 ounce) can plum tomatoes, undrained, mashed with a fork to a pulp
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
