Make angel hair and set aside

In large skillet, melt butter and saute shallots, basil and parsley for 2-3 minutes

Stir in tomatoes and heat to boiling

Cook sauce until reduced by half

Add wine and simmer 5 minutes

Meanwhile, cook angel hair until al dente, drain and place in a heated serving dish

Add crabmeat to sauce and simmer another 2-3 minutes

Remove from heat

Pour sauce over angel hair and toss gently

Serve immediately

ANGEL HAIR PASTA WITH BASIL AND CRAB
ingredients
- 1 full load of pasta dough made into angel hair
- 1/2 pound butter or margarine
- 3 tablespoons chopped shallots
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, minced
- 3 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced
- 3 (16-ounce) cans peeled and chopped tomatoes, drained
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1-1/2 pounds crabmeat OR imitation crabmeat
- freshly grated Parmesan cheese
