Make linguine and set aside

In a large skillet, saute garlic in butter over medium-high heat for 1 minute

Reduce heat and simmer for 12 minutes or until sauce is reduced by 1/3

Meanwhile, cook linguine until al dente, drain and place in a heated serving dish

Pour sauce over linguine and toss gently Serve immediately.
LINGUINE WITH WHITE CLAM SAUCE
ingredients
- 1 full load of pasta dough made into linguine
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2-1/2 cups bottled clam juice
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, minced
- 1-1/2 teaspoons dried thyme
- salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 3 cups fresh minced clams OR
- 4 (6-1/4 ounce) cans minced clams
