    Place sherry, soy sauce, Hoisin sauce, ketchup, olive oil and sugar in a medium bowl

    Whisk to combine

    Add the garlic, ginger, green onions and pepper

    Stir to mix together. Yield: 1 cup SUGGESTED USE: Hoisin sauce is a thick sweet bean sauce often used in marinades to thicken and intensify the flavors

    This marinade is especially good on pork tenderloin (3 to 4 hours) or boneless chicken breasts (2 to 3 hours).

  • 1/4 cup dry sherry
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Hoisin sauce
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
  • 4 green onions, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
