    Bring stock to a boil in a large pot

    Drop won-tons, cabbage leaves and carrots into stock

  • 3

    Boil rapidly 2 to 3 minutes or until wontons are tender but firm

  • 4

    Garnish with green onion and serve.

WON TON SOUP

ingredients

  • 1full load of won ton or Chinese egg noodle dough
  • made into 30 won tons (see recipe page 149)
  • 4 quarts of chicken stock OR
  • 4 (14-1/2 ounce) cans chicken broth
  • Chinese cabbage leaves, chopped
  • Carrot strips
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped
