In a large saucepan, mix water, beef broth, bouillon cube, tomato paste and butter

Bring to a boil

Using a spoon, carefully lower meatballs one at a time into the broth

Cover and cook 25 minutes

Add linguini pieces and cook until pasta is al dente

ingredients
- 1 half load pasta dough made into linguini, cut into 3/4-inch pieces
- 1/2 pound ground sirloin
- 1/4 cup dry breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon grated onion
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup water
- 2 (10-1/2-ounce) cans beef broth
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1/2 cup tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon butter
