    Place ingredients in a blender and blend into a smooth paste

    Place mixture into a warm bowl while cooking pasta

  • 3

    Drain pasta and add to pesto sauce, tossing to coat

  • 4

    Add about 4 tablespoons of hot water and toss again

  • 5

    Serve immediately.

  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 1 cup fresh parsley
  • 1/2 cup each grated Parmesan & Romano Cheese
  • 2 tablespoons pine nuts
  • 6 blanched almonds
  • 6 walnut halves
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 3/4 cup olive oil
