    For crust, combine all ingredients in the food processor

    Pulse several times and then turn on until dough forms a ball

  • 3

    Dough can be refrigerated at this point for several hours

    Divide dough into 24 balls

  • 5

    Spray miniature muffin pan with nonstick spray and press dough into bottom and up sides to form crusts

    For filling, finely chop the pecans and place in a medium bowl

  • 7

    Add the brown sugar, melted butter, egg and a pinch of salt

  • 8

    Spoon 1 teaspoon filling into each crust

  • 9

    Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes or until crust is browned around the edges and filling is set

    Remove pastries to a rack to cool

  • 11

    Dust with sifted powdered sugar to serve.

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 cup flour
  • Filling:
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 3/4 cup golden brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • Pinch salt
  • Sifted powdered sugar for garnish
