    Peel ginger and mince

  • 2

    Trim green beans and cut in half crosswise

    Peel and mince garlic

  • 4

    Trim pork of all fat and silver skin and slice

  • 5

    Cut slices into thin strips

  • 6

    Combine ginger, soy sauce, honey and red pepper flakes and toss with pork

  • 7

    Let stand 30 minutes

  • 8

    Drop green beans in a pot of boiling water and cook 4 to 6 minutes until tender

    Rinse in cold water to stop cooking

  • 10

    Heat oil in a wok over medium high heat

  • 11

    Add pork, reserving marinade in dish

  • 12

    Cook until done, about 5 minutes

    Add green beans and toss to warm

  • 14

    Add reserved marinade and sauce ingredients and cook until thickened

  • 15

    Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately.

  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger
  • 1 pound thin green beans
  • 1 pork tenderloin
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Sauce: 1/3 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange zest
  • 1 clove garlic
