Place the brown sugar and cornstarch in a medium saucepan and stir to combine well

Stir in apricot nectar, ketchup, mustard and orange zest

Bring to a boil, stirring often and cook until thickened and bubbly

Cool before using for basting

Serve hot for dipping. Yield: 3 cups SUGGESTED USE: Use this sauce to baste chicken, whole or pieces, pork chops, tenderloins, loin or ribs

- 2-1/2 cups apricot nectar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons grated orange rind (zest)
