    Mix egg, yogurt, margarine and rice

    Add the rest of the ingredients, and stir until mixed well

    Fold onto hot oiled griddle

    Brown both sides

  • 5

    Serve plain or with syrup

    Makes 18, 3 inch cakes.

  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 TB margarine, melted
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 1/2 cups yogurt
  • 1 cup flour, sifted
  • 2 TBsugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 cup milk
