CURRY JERKY

    Mix all ingredients together

  • 2

    Place meat slices side by side on a flat surface

  • 3

    Sprinkle marinade mix on meat, turn meat and sprinkle the other side

  • 4

    Rub mix into meat

  • 5

    Place in a covered non- metal dish and let marinate in refrigerator for 6 to 12 hours. Place in dehydrator until dry

  • 6

    While meat is dry- ing, blot excess oil with paper towel.

CURRY JERKY

ingredients

  • Makes about 1/2 lb jerky
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 TB curry powder
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 lbs round, flank steak, or other lean meat
