Mix all ingredients together

Place meat slices side by side on a flat surface

Sprinkle marinade mix on meat, turn meat and sprinkle the other side

Rub mix into meat

Place in a covered non-metal dish and let marinate in refrigerator for 6 to 12 hours. Place in dehydrator until dry

While meat is dry- ing, blot excess oil with paper towel.
ARIZONA STYLE JERKY
ingredients
- Makes about 1/2 lb jerky
- 2 tsp. salt I tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 1/4-1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 3 TB chili powder
- 2 tsp. cumin
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 TB fresh cilantro, minced
- 2 lbs round, flank steak, or other lean cut meat
