ingredients
- 2 cups finely chopped fresh tomatoes
- 1/2 cup red onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup scallions, chopped including some tops
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red flat-leaf parsley
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1 (3-3/4 ounce) can imported sardines
- packed in water, drained
