Heat oil in a medium skillet

Add bell pepper and saute 3 minutes, or until crisp-tender

Add the crushed red pepper and garlic and saute 1 minute more

Cook potatoes and broccoli in a medium saucepan in about 1 inch of lightly salted water

Steam until they are tender, about 8 minutes

Drain and toss with the peppers and plenty of freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Toss with hot pasta

ingredients
- 6 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small red bell pepper, seeded, cut into thin strips
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed dried red pepper
- 1 small garlic clove, cut into thin slivers
- 3 cups cubed (1/2-inch) unpared new potatoes
- 3 cups broccoli florets,
- cut into approximately 1/2-inch pieces
- freshly grated Parmesan cheese
