ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium-sized onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 8 medium tomatoes, seeded and cubed
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/3 cup red wine
- 3/4 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
