    Wash and trim broccoli, discarding stalks

    Cut in small florettes

  • 3

    Cook in boiling salted water 2 to 3 minutes or until crisp-tender

    Drain thoroughly

  • 5

    Roughly chop cheese

  • 6

    Put cheese and mascarpone in a small saucepan

  • 7

    Stir over low heat until cheese has melted

  • 8

    Add broccoli and yogurt to cheese sauce

  • 9

    Heat gently, stirring occasionally, 2 minutes

  • 10

    Pour over hot pasta

  • 11

    Serves 4.

  • 1/2 pound fresh broccoli
  • 6 ounces Gorgonzola cheese
  • 1/2 cup mascarpone
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
