Next sprinkle about 1-1/2 tablespoons raisins in a strip down the cen- ter. Fold and tie with strips of husk

Makes 10 to 12 dozen. Variation: Almost any type of preserves can be substi- tuted for the raisins

PECAN-RAISIN DESSERT TAMALES
ingredients
- 1 recipe Tamale Masa (see recipe previous page)
- 2 cups sugar (can use half light brown sugar)
- 1-1/2 tablespoons cinnamon, or to taste
- 2-1/2 cups coarsely chopped pecans
- 3 cups raisins (use some light and dark for interest)
- 10 to 12 dozen corn husks
