Chop the suet and fry out

Add water and bring to a boil

Stir in flour slowly, creaming to form a paste

Add sugar and pour into a dough-lined pie tin

Add dried peaches if available. Cover with dough, cut numerous openings for escaping steam, sprinkle sugar over the top, and bake until the crust is crisp and brown

- pastry dough (use recipe with Denver Apple Pie)
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1/2 pound suet
- flour as needed
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar dried peaches, optional
