    Combine all ingredients and store in a jar for up to 6 months. Yield: 3/4 cup SUGGESTED USE: Have this rub on hand as a staple

    This rub is equally good on a steak (1 hour), a beef roast (4 to 6 hours), pork loin or tenderloin (2 to 3 hours) spareribs (6 to 8 hours), a whole chicken (2 hours) or even chicken breasts (1 hour).

  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
