    Beat in eggs, then buttermilk, then molasses. Gradually stir liquid mixture into the bowl of diy ingre- dients

    Beat thoroughly

    Pour into greased 8x12 bak- ing pan

    Bake in moderate (350F.) oven 30-35 minutes.

  • 1 /4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup molasses
