- 1-1/2 cups brown sugar
- 2/3 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup sour milk (or buttermilk)
- 2-1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon, soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1-1/2 cups raw rhubarb, diced
- 1/2 cups walnuts, chopped
